Pacific Douglas is Surrey's southernmost residential area, sitting directly against the Canada–U.S. border. The historic Douglas neighbourhood lies between the Peace Arch crossing (Highway 99) and the Pacific Highway crossing (Highway 15), though the residential pocket is often referred to locally as Summerfield.

Homes here sit on roughly 3,000 to 5,000-square-foot lots, with an average house size of around 3,200 square feet and an average price point of $1.6 million. It's a lovely, quiet area that remains largely undiscovered by those unfamiliar with South Surrey. Peace Portal Golf Course borders the neighbourhood to the west, and just over 8th Avenue you'll find Meridian Hills, a par-3 course. Douglas Elementary is another draw for young families, as one of only three Surrey public elementary schools offering the district's K–7 Montessori program.
